Emergency & Disaster Planning

Disasters and emergencies can take many forms and range from natural disaster such as storms, flood, and fires, through to business issues such as workplace accidents or chemical spills. Each of these disasters or emergencies have the potential to significantly impact a business’s ability to function normally. There can also be loss to business reputation, loss of infrastructure or life.

It is therefore prudent to plan for these emergencies and consider the impacts each would have on the business. The plan should include developing strategies than can be implemented to avert or mitigate any impacts.

The list below contains information relevant to disaster and emergency planning mitigation and recovery.
